Commission Regulation (EU) No 432/2012 of 16 May 2012,establishing a list of permitted health claims made on food other than those relating to the reduction of disease risk and to children’s development and health was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 25 May.

Consequently, a Conference entirely dedicated to this Regulation will be held on 19 June at the “Ernest Lluch” conference room of the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, organised jointly by the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN).

The Conference aims to look at the application and new features introduced by this Regulation.It is directed at members of public administration and representatives of the food industry,consumers and any other interested parties.

The programme and the application procedure (requirement for attending the conference) are given below.

In view of the interest expressed in the Conferences organised by the AESAN,we regret that once the capacity of the “Ernest Lluch” conference hall at the Ministry of Health,Social Services and Equality has been filled,we are unable to accept any new applications.
